Like many companies, Steinweg Netherlands faced a shortage of dockworkers for its Rotterdam locations. Together, we developed and launched the recruitment campaign Join the Club, aimed at attracting new employees to this logistics service provider.
Strategy
The campaign targeted individuals considering a career switch. We focused on people aged 25–50 with vocational diplomas who were ready for a new challenge in port logistics. The strategy centered on three key drivers: personal growth, outdoor work, and job variety.
Branding
With the slogan ‘Join the Club’, we highlighted the benefits of working at Steinweg. The campaign was designed to appeal to the target audience, showcasing the dynamic and exciting opportunities of a career in the port.
Activation
The campaign launched with a digital-first strategy, including conversion-focused landing pages, social media ads, radio commercials, and banners. Collaborating with Scheepens, we amplified the message via sporting events and platforms like Dumpert.nl. The results were immediately visible in application numbers.
Results
Within the first few weeks, the goal of recruiting 20 new employees was surpassed, ultimately leading to 29 new hires. The campaign achieved 5,659,935 impressions and 34,215 unique website visitors, and its success continued well into 2024.
