For the third consecutive year, we partnered with Bijl PR to organize National Climate Week 2023. This year, the focus was on action. How do you get people moving? Through real stories and direct communication.

Strategy

After two years of experience, this third year we built on a solid strategy, with a new focus: activation. We chose a direct, less polished tone with stories that spur action and interaction.

Branding

We gave NKW a fresh, dynamic look that matched the urgency of the moment. Strong visual and textual content conveyed the message of sustainable action clearly, both locally and nationally.

Activation

Powerful social content got people moving. With formats like “Week Without,” street interviews and NKW Live , we inspired a wide audience to do something for a better climate as well.

Results

National Climate Week 2023 generated over 112 million views and inspired the Netherlands to collectively make a change. No fewer than 236 Climate Supporters, 245 Climate Mayors, and 99 NKW municipalities took action during NKW.
